During conception, there is development on the physiological aspect of the child. The development took place during the first week of pregnancy until the child is ready to come out.
When a child is already born in this world, he will now start surviving on his own. Although parent's guidance will always be with the child, the development is dependent on the responses he makes with the surrounding. The development on the day the child was born keeps on increasing gradually as the child matures. There are times the theory of the relationship of the age with the child's development is being disregarded when the child gives little response to the changes on his surrounding. This happens when there are diseases that affect the child's development. Cerebral palsy is one of the diseases that greatly affect a child's development. There are other neurological diseases that can affect the child's development. Autistic children are incapable of processing certain brain responses that makes them irresponsive with their growth. This makes them slow learning children. Although the physical development of the child is not greatly affected by some of these diseases, other human developments can be affected.

Child development researches are conducted by professionals mostly on the field of psychology and the medicine to know the diversity of human development.
There are many organizations including the government that conducts this kind of research to answer the questions about child development. The research that this group made is very important in knowing your child's development and targeting the right thing that you must do as guardians on the development of your child.
